Just a jingle.
In Somerset, Hereford and Devon
they make the cider which is drunk in Heaven.
In Burra to give life a bit more spice,
the Thorogoods serve ciders Paradise.

Visited your place last week (it was VERY wet weather)from Newcastle. Loved your hospitality (sorry, we've just had a lovely drop of Misty). Our order will be on your fax tomorrow so we can celebrate our son's wedding next weekend!!! Kind Regards, Greg & Lorraine Hannah.

G'day Tony, I've just received a box of goodies from you guys. Thanks a million for the two free liqueurs - I look forward to trying them! Also wanted to mention that I enjoyed your RateBeer interview. Keep up the fine work - you're the most innovative beer/cider maker in Oz. Recognition will surely come your way. More power to your elbow. Cheers, Steve Fraser

Had the pleasure of tasting most of your products last week during our trip to Burra. We have both enjoyed the scrumpy we bought very much and have agreed a day trip to collect some more will be happening soon!

I live in Wellington New Zealand, can I get your fabulous cider anywhere here please.
*** Anthony Harper (Brisbane) Posted: 2006-01-03 19:57:16
Quite amazing powerful and idiosycratic. The apple beer certainly needs to be approached with caution.

The last lot of cider we ordered is so good we had to take you up on some of your Christmas Specials! I know we will be enjoying some of your gorgeous ciders and beers well into the New Year. We may even part with one or two bottles over Christmas, in the spirit of sharing. Thanks again looking forward to our next delivery.

Your Straw Bale Cider is extraordinary. I do love it. In fact, I've got a bottle opened with its cork slightly tightened on my Kitchen bench I have a sip every time I see it.

Hi Guys
We were lucky enough to Sample your Apple Wines last week. Suffering no allergies the next day was particularly special to me.

Good morning Tony...firstly thank you for your very kind hospitality when Jana and I, together with Ben & Carissa Jeanneret visited you on Good Friday. The tour of the facility was most interesting (my first to a cidery) and we really enjoyed your excellent products.
Last night for diner we had roast shoulder of pork with braised red cabbage, apple and carraway and re-fried Kippfler potatoes. With this we enjoyed a bottle of THOROGOODS GOLD DUST 2000. It was a marriage made in heaven.
Cheers!
Ron

Thank you very much for giving us the cider seafood crepe recipe. It was delicious and a great talking point at the dinner table. We also enjoyed our bottle of apple wine with our meal.

Misty Morning is better than French Cidre we think and we think Misty Morning is better than French Champagne.

Beautiful liqueur
*** Bernard T. (Pymble NSW) Posted: 2004-01-26 19:14:15
Yesterday Evening we had a bottle of Gold Dust with pork chops-a perfect coupling, so I wonder if you have any Gold Dust available. Could you make up a box with 6 Gold Dust and 6 assorted? We find your bottles make very welcome presents to neighbours and friends at Christmas-so we don't drink it all.
*** Julie Munro (Burra) Posted: 2004-01-19 19:31:39
Fantastic, well done. Didn't even know you had a website. I'm sure people with enjoy ordering your products via the internet.
*** Daryl (Sydney) Posted: 2004-01-19 19:31:39
Valid HTML! A delight to see. I'm going to try the recipes too.

Tony and Susan, just looking for ideas. My wife Irene and myself have just opened a commercial cidery at Harcourt in Victoria. We must try to catch up with each other in the near future.

Congratulations on one of the best web-sites I've come across
My family comes from Devon and our name is derived from the local dialect for a crab-apple, the ancient English fore-runner of your trees.
Will be up to see you when the sun comes out and stays out.
